Health Economics Manager / Market Access Manager / Reimbursement Manager
This temporary position is for 24 - 40 hours from 1th of July till the end of December (pregnancy leave)
Market Access Manager - Job Description
Within the Corporate Affairs department, the Health Economics Manager is responsible for developing and implementing market access plans for health economic projects, optimal reimbursement/funding conditions and best pricing, and to promote the value of pharmaceuticals and SP products in front of relevant authorities, key influential experts, key opinion leaders and decision makers in order to ensure optimal market access for the company products.
- Developing strategies for maximal market access (health economic projects, reimbursement/funding applications and best pricing applications) in close collaboration with the Director Corporate Affairs
- Leading health economic projects
- Leading reimbursement/funding applications
- Leading new price and price change applications
- Participate in (the organization of) the monthly Product Life Cycle Meeting
- Participate in brand teams for market access support
- Support public affairs activities
Reimbursement Manager - Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Scientific or Health economics area
- At least 1 year experience in health economics and market access
- At least 1 year experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferable Health Economics, Corporate Affairs or Regulatory Affairs)
- Health economic, market access and public affairs expertise
- Knowledge of local guidelines and regulations relevant to health economics, reimbursement/funding applications and price applications
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector in health care, pharma industry regulatory compliance and health care system
- Dutch and English language – Proficiency at the business level
- Relationships with health authorities (CVZ, CTG, VWS) or public institutions and other key persons involved in the health sector
- Cross functional team work and collaboration
- Strong listening and learning skills and Business Integrity
This position does not have regular management/supervisory components, however, this position may lead projects.
